A houseboat cruise is an ideal option for vacationers looking for a weekend amidst serene surroundings. Our Superior Houseboats are reasonably priced, yet ensures a leisure and comfort.


The guests will be checked into the houseboat at 12noon. As soon as the cruise commences, a traditional Kerala lunch will be served. The lunch usually consists of popular local dishes such as cooked Tapioca and spicy Fish curry with gravy, rice, chicken and vegetables etc.

The houseboats cover rivers and canals dotted with palm trees and small houses, paddy fields and churches etc. This is an excellent opportunity to take a sneak peak into the daily lives of the rural folk. So lounge on the uplifted sun deck in the patio and watch the unique features of the backwaters present itself while you glide along. Enjoy the sun and catch the fishermen angling in the waters. While the houseboat is anchored at the lake side for a break, you can move around or take a refreshing swim. Or sample some freshly tapped toddy, which is a sweet country liquor tapped from Palm tree.

Cruising along the backwaters poses before you many unique characteristics of Kerala. You come across R-block which is known for its indigenous agriculture practice and Pathiramanal, which is a small island is an abode for migratory birds.

The guests will be served tea and local snacks in the evening. After dinner, the guests can retire to the bedrooms , which are cozy and well-furnished. The 2-bedroom Superior houseboats can accommodate 4 -6 pax.  On Day 2, the cruise begins early and will wrap off after breakfast. The guests will be dropped off at the finishing point.
