A cruise on a 2- bedroom Houseboat is ideal for groups of 4-6. The houseboat which is done up in natural décor offers a base to quietly watch the villages, rural folk and the marine life. Take an overnight cruise and bask in the midst of nature.

Check into the houseboat at 12 noon and set off for a journey of exploration. While the Kerala backwaters teem with aquatic life, the back drop is scenic and green. The cruisers can stretch back on the sun deck and witness the little nuances of Kerala, such as paddy fields, grazing ducks and fishermen. You can also immerse in a book, catch up with the latest news on the Television or just lie down and feel the sun blazing down.

The mainland Alappuzha has a vast network of lakes, lagoons and fresh water rivers criss crossing it and is a district of immense natural beauty. A one night cruise in Alappuzha takes you through the R-block which features beautiful scenes of paddy fields. This is one of the places in the world where farming is done below sea level. You can also see Pathiramanal, which is a small island that lies between Thanneermukam and Kumarakom. This island with a mythological significance is an ideal place to take a break.
