Alleppey Round -2 nights -
Day 1: The cruise will begin from Alleppey finishing point jetty at 12 noon. As the boat smoothly sails along the Pallathuruthy canal you will relish a Kerala feast served with a variety of tempting delicacies. Slowly steering its way the cruise will saunter through Pukaitha canal, Pullangady till it reaches Champakulam. You have lots of sights to look for in Champakulam from Kottaram temple, snake boat, to ancient Champakulam Church which is more than 200 year old this church is one of the seven churches established by St.Thomas in Kerala. The annual feast at this church falls on the 3rd Sunday of October every year. The centuries-old Champakulam boat race held here marks the beginning of a month of festivities.
Day 2 : The boat will cruise through Mancompu on the 2 day of the backwater tour. During the tour the cruisers can take a halt and can get down for a short walk through the Mancompu village. At around 1pm you can have your lunch onboard followed by visit to the Bhagavathy temple at the village, before the boat proceeds to Kavalam via Pulinkunnu and Puthenthodu (a long stretch of a narrow canal). Rest of your cruise will be through big rivers dotted with paddy field on both sides. The boat will glide long Mangalam, E-block, H-block and R-block respectively. Anchor will be drop at Cherukali Kayal for a night stay.
Day 3 : On the final day of the cruise, the houseboat will float through C-block, Kuppapuram and Azhikkal canal. After breakfast the cruise will windup at Alleppey finishing point jetty at around 9:30am.
