 When you are planning a short break away from the noise and pollution of the city life, take a backwater cruise from Alappuzha to Kumarakom. This circuit is widely known for its scenic beauty and innumerable lagoons and canals that are characteristic of Kerala villages. Our representative would receive you onboard at 12 noon. As soon as the cruiser sets sail, you will be served a lavish spread of authentic Kerala cuisine. Savour the local delicacies of Kerala which are spiced up with traditional flavours. Post-lunch you can lounge in the comfortable patio where you can take a nap or just cuddle up with a book. But don't disconnect yourself from the outside world for long, for there are many unique features waiting in store for you. Laze on the sun-deck and watch the fishermen throwing a bait and angling their daily catch. You can buy some of the fresh catch from them and get it cooked by our chef who is onboard. If you want to throw in some novelty, borrow our fishing rod from the Captain and reward yourself with a catch. The houseboat will pass through paddy fields and waddling ducks and many such sights that are hallmarks of the Kerala backwaters. During our brief stopovers, you get to see the Champakulam Church, Pathiramanal and R-Block. The two nights and three days cruise package takes care of all your food, beginning with lunch on Day 1. Tea,along with conventional snacks will be served in the evening. After you are done with your dinner, the Houseboats will be moored at the lakeside on each of the days.
