You can recline on the sun deck and witness the many features that are characteristic of Kerala unfurl before you.The kitchen at the rear of the boat is complete with all the modern amenities and you will be served onboard, lunch, tea with snacks, dinner and breakfast in traditional Kerala style by the seasoned chef. The large windows in the sitting area lets you gaze at the backwaters and the natural greenery. The boat sails past R Block and C Block which are which are popular for its unconventional cultivation methods. Pathiramanal, a tiny island which is abode for migratory birds is another interesting stop. The short mooring sessions can be put to good use by taking exploring the villages by feet. If you feel like it, you can hire a bicycle and pedal your way through the country side. For more active fun, try your hands at swimming or take a dip in the waters. Your food right from the lunch on Day 1 to dinner on Day 3 will be taken care of by the crew. Menu will be purely traditional, so expect it to be liberally sprinkled with spices. The houseboat will be anchored at the lakeside in the evening and you can retire to your bedroom after dinner. On day three the cruise sets off early in the morning.
