Set in the  Periyar Tiger Reserve, it offers comfortable accommodation to the guests. But the guests should ensure that they reach the place before 4pm.

Aranya Nivas or the Sylvan Abode is perched deep inside the dense, green woods. This quaint structure in the colonial style, is the only property in India set in the heart of a game reserve. Besides being the ideal holiday retreat, Aranya Nivas is also the perfect venue for a relaxed budget corporate meet or business conference.

 

Though styled after a game lodge, Aranya Nivas offers you luxurious comforts in the heart of the jungle. It offers 30 rooms and one suite and has all the basic amenities.A boat cruise on the Periyar Lake, elephant rides and wildlife safari and trekking through the dense woods can be arranged while you stay at Aranya Nivas.
