An old palace situated in a silent, green village. The old Mana still carries its traditional value systems in its approach to Ayurvedic Treatments which were selflessly promoted and offered to society by the Aram Thamuran (Sixth Ruler.1921-1997). His Expertise in all forms of arts and literature, Ayurveda, Kalari, Yoga and other performing arts and his knowledge in all facets of life gave him the name "ARIVINTE THAMPURAN" (living legend of knowledge)
Poomully Mana, having history of over 500 years was considered to be one of the richest and powerful namboothiri families in Kerala. Poomully Mana was reconstructed in 1850 by Shri. Poomully Narayanan Nampoothiripadu. Poomully Mana’s members were famous for practicing Ayurveda, Kalari, Yoga and other performing Arts. The name and fame of Poomully Mana was synonymous with Kerala's heritage and culture. Legendaries from all over the world visited Poomully Mana and has undergone training here in different art and cultural forms.
Consultation with the senior doctor, Dr.Devan Namboothiri (Tuesday and Friday),for Ayurvedic Massage and treatment. All the traditional Ayurvedic treatments are carried out in the special “Poomully way” which follows the texts and documents written by the ancient sages. These specialized treatments include treatment for stress relief, spondylitis, arthritis, slip disc & chronic low back pain, bronchial diseases, cancer of breast and uterus, Diabetes, E.N.T. Diseases, Epilepsy, Facial paralysis, Migraine, Neurological complaints, Obesity, Psoriasis &other skin problems, Gastric and liver problems etc. Exclusive treatments are offered for Infertility and sports Injuries such as Tennis elbow, Sprains, Beauty therapy...etc.
There are 12 beautifully furnished spacious bed rooms with attached bathroom and toilets.

Inclusions: The package includes accommodation in non a/c heritage villa, all meals (pure Veg), Doctors consultation, ayurvedic treatments, Internal medicines and all taxes
Exclusions:
- Internal medicines are an integral part of Ayurveda Treatments, which are made for individual needs are also included in the package.
- Service charge for the Doctor is for supervision over the treatments, diet, routine visits and consultation.
- Package cost do not include treatments if any, required for conditions not related to the package.
- Package costs do not include any tests, if required by doctors.
- Package costs do not cover extra consultations required after treatment, if situation warrants extra supervision for the patient.
- If additional days treatment is required, the rates will vary proportionately. Extra days and costs in such cases will be notified before they are incurred.
- Vasthi ( Medicated enema) Kashaya and Mathra are also advocated along with Ayurveda external therapies.
- For Ladies - on their menstrual period, no major Ayurvedic therapies will be carried out other than general therapies (like Head and shoulder, local massage etc.)
- Sightseeing, telephone calls, internet, personal laundry and other additional service requested will be charged extra.
- Pick up and drop to Cochin Airport/Railway Station @ € 70 per trip in a/c cab
- A/c room charges @ € 10/day extra.
