The verdant garden surrounding the Kerala styled house will lead to backwaters. The farmland around the house has various kinds of trees that include coconuts, areca nuts, and mangoes in profusion. Besides various medicinal plants there are pepper, pineapple and mangroves. The 200 year old mango tree named "Chandrakaran" is the prized possession of Gramam, incidentally it is the biggest tree in the entire village.
