Samudra (Samudra meaning Ocean) is a KTDC Enterprise and a 3-star resort. Samudra is located in the middle of three palm-fringed coves in the renowned Kovalam beach. This beach-front property is a sea side getaway and an ideal place to relax and enjoy a holiday close to the beach. The resort has the advantage of being just a 30 minute drive away from International Airport, Central Rail and Bus Terminals.

Samudra provides 62 well-appointed deluxe rooms and 2 suites with sea facing balconies. All the rooms at the hotel are equipped with the facilities of 24-hour room service, Satellite TV, in-house movies and channel music. The resort offers a rich dining experience with its multi-cuisine restaurant. The restaurant serves Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisines. The additional facilities at the hotel include beer parlor, poolside bar, coffee shop,, swimming pool and handicrafts emporium.
