Enjoy a wonderful cruise of the Kerala backwaters in our one of traditional Kerala Houseboats - an erstwhile rice boat, Kettuvalom - that carries you across Lake Vembanad and then through the narrow waterways and paddy fringed canals that make up the extraordinary Kerala Backwaters. We have a flotilla of boats that range from an intimate one cabin boat to a family sized three or four bedroom houseboat. They range from luxurious to a standard houseboat without air conditioning. Rates are for the whole boat and include meals and petrol costs.
We can arrange anything from a 1 night stay to a whole week of dawdling through the real backwaters.

Any time is Kerala time, but for most Western visitors the winter offers the most welcoming climate and the driest time. March and April are hot and tropical before the Monsoon finally breaks and the rainy season starts which is then Ayurveda time. So Winter for touring holidays, and the summer for curing yourself.
