Lakesong is an enchanting resort that is situated besides the serene backwaters of Kumarakom. The resort has around 75 rooms making it an ideal accommodation for large groups or corporate getaways.Tiled roofs, wood crafts on the ceilings and the un-plastered exteriors perfectly retain the best of the traditional architecture of Kerala. This 5-acre water front property has 28 appealing cottages, with 4 star amenities, that offer splendid overview of the unspoilt backwaters.

Lakesong is an appealing venture of the Eastend Group. The rooms are classified into three as Vembanadu, Ashtamudi and Punnamada. Vembanadu and Ashtamudi Villas are built using Laterite rocks and Punnamada is built using interlocking brick works. The interiors of the rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished and are equipped with necessary amenities like TV, cable TV, direct-dial telephone and wi-fi technology. Safe for baggage, doctor on call, currency exchange, pickup from arrival point and hot water, laundry are some of the added features of Lakesong resort.

Owing to its proximity to the backwaters of Alappuzha, better known as “The Venice of the East”, Lakesong provides tremendous scope for several activities like backwater cruise, houseboat cruise, village walks, traditional water rides by rowing country boats, farm tour and culture tour. Kumarakom bird sanctuary is located near by and it is worth a visit.
