Mistymount Bungalow 

Tucked in a corner of the Glenrock Estate - one of the many tea estates opened by J.D. Munro in 1870, Mistymount Bungalow is surrounded by lush green tea plantations. The Glenrock estate is a collage of varied plantations of Tea, coffee, cardamom, vanilla and spices .A flavor of Colonial tradition is evident in the low carved scallop and the steeply pitched roof of the structure. The Bungalow's eastern side has many wooden framed windows built on board ledge running the full eastern length letting the morning sun in.

One can enjoy the sunrise sitting laid back on the sunken openness of the morning room with high ceiling wooden roof. Massages for general rejuvenation or treatment for ailments can be availed by appointment at Sahyadri Ayurvedic Hospital , which is just three kilometers away. Sahyadri is an establishment that maintains a garden of Ayurvedic plants and has its own medicine-manufacturing unit. The guests can pay a visit to the tomb of Pir Mohammed which is just few minutes drive away, the bison valley with an old temple where the native give ritualistic offerings, organic Farm and Animal Husbandry unit run by Peerumed Development Society. Misty mountain is just 40 kilometers from the Periyar Tiger Reserve.
