Information about Airports in Kerala

There are two main airports in Kerala - Cochin and Trivandrum (TRI). Both have both international and domestic flights arriving and departing.

Both airports are small and friendly and unless you arrive with a rush of flights, you should be in and out of the airport quite quickly.

Airlines flying to Kerala from outside India

Emirates flies to Cochin and offers the most reliable service and most substantial network from around the world. All the flights come and go to Dubai, which is the Emirates hub and a major shopping destination. Emirates flights tend to be more expensive than others but offer a superior service to boot.

Package Flights to Kerala

Some of the best holiday prices for flights can come from buying a package and dumping the accommodation segment. The disadvantage of package flights is that you are tied to specific flight times and the aircraft themselves are often less comfortable than say an Emirates Boeing.

The advantage is that the flights are usually direct from the originating airport and so are faster with no lay overs in mid point air port hubs such as Dubai, Mumbai or Sharjah.
