Day1.Cochin: Traditional welcome and pick up from Cochin airport.

Check in at the Brunton Boatyard Hotel/Malabar House Residency. Cochin is situated on a number of small islands and peninsulas that in some parts still look like the old engravings that were scattered in Europe during colonial times.Visit the 'Dutch palace' with beautiful murals, which depict different episodes in Hindu myths and a 16th century Jewish synagogue and the only Jewish neighborhood in India.In the Dutch cemetery and in two churches you can see many Dutch gravestones.

The 10 meters high 11th century Chinese fishnets that Marco Polo mentioned are wonderful to see.

Day2. Cochin- Munnar. (5 Hrs.)
After b/fast drive to Munnar.

You will check-in into hotel Wintermere Estate/Tall Trees. Overnight at hotel.

Munnar is popularly known as the Queen of the hills. Remember to carry a pair of warm clothing. Munnar is at a height of 4420 feet above sea level and is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams. The place abounds in green forests and tea estates.This was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji a flower which bathes the hills in he blue colour once in every twelve years which bloom next in 2006.The first tea in the High Ranges was planted by Sharp in 1890. Passing through the stress and strain of raising plantations, the members of the Society merged and a majority of the estates were transferred to James-Finlay, a European company.Apart from cultivation, the English game hunters among the old planters had taken an interest in hunting activities and set aside some areas for recreation. The present day Eravikulam National Park was one such area. The game included Nilgiri tahr, sambar, barking deer, gaur, wild pig, leopard and tiger. The area also offered excellent opportunity for angling of rainbow trout (Salmo gairdnerii) which was introduced from Scotland.

Day 3: Munnar:After b/fast the entire day can be spend in exploring Munnar and surrounding area of Eravikulam National Park. You can go for local sight seeing,  boating, visit  Mattupetti dam, water falls,tea factory etc.and enjoy the salubrious climate among the misty mountains and green valleys. The weather will be very chill in the evening. Overnight at hotel/ overnight at Hotel.

Day 4: Munnar- Periyar. (2 Hrs) After an early b/fast, drive to one of the best game sanctuaries in India - Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary. Your journey to Thekkady is through breathtaking, winding, dense rubber, tea and spices plantations. Mangala Devi Temple,an ancient temple is hidden in the dense woods at the top of a peak 1337 m above sea level. The temple is built in the traditional Kerala style of architecture. Visitors are allowed here only on the Chithra Pournami festival day. Periyar wildlife sanctuary has a picturesque lake at the heart of the sanctuary. Formed with the building of a dam in 1895,by British, this reservoir meanders around the contours of the wooded hills, providing a permanent source of water for the local wildlife. Though its a Tiger Reserve, tourists come here to view the Indian elephants in the act of ablution and playfulness by the Periyar lake. Do not forget your cameras. Check in at the hotel Spice Village/Shalimar Spice Garden.Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 and Day 6 -  Periyar
The guests can go for an early morning  boating in the Periyar Lake. From your motorboat, you can watch wild elephants, wild boars, bisons and dears.You can enjoy elephant ride, forest trekking with tribals, spice plantation tours etc. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Periyar- Kumarakom.(4 Hrs)
After B/fast leave to Kumarakom,a charming village on the Vembanad Lake. A lovely place with mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with  waterways and canals adorned with white lilies. Situated on the vembanad lake, in this small water world you'll come across plenty of traditional country Crafts, boats and canoes which will take you into the heart of the scenic lake. Check in to your resort -Kumarakom Lake Resort/ Coconut Lagoon in time to view the spectacular sunset. Stay overnight.

Day 8:Kumarakom.
After breakfast, Visit the bird sanctuary and the near by places in Kumarakom. After the sightseeing take an appointment with the Ayurvedic Doctor for a massage. After the massage, relax /Overnight stay
