We are a Cochin based Kerala travel specialist with main office in Ernakulam (Cochin City) and parents (so to speak) based in England, near Winchester (very Raj you might think).
All our travel planning for clients is provided from Cochin, close to the action and it is a key principle of the company that customers should properly benefit from our local expertise and connections.
We provide three types of services for travellers:
- Pure Booking Services - we simply do the booking for what you want
- Planning & Booking Services - we help you decide what to do and make the arrangements
- In-Country Concierge Service - you have booked some and we help with the rest.
KarmaKerala was founded in 2007 with a specific business principle in mind: to provide an innovative, professional local service for visitors to Kerala. Most travel agents don't work like that: they use a local ground handler and then visit a destination maybe once a year. As a result, they don't really know what is good and what is not but since the traveller knows even less, they get away with it.
We had this idea that your holiday should start from the first moment when you start searching for things and that you should have pleasure throughout the whole process. We also realised that people often wanted flexibility in terms of deciding and booking. The we thought, wouldn't it be great if your planning process could be like a conversation with a local guide who could advise and then help you make it all happen.
