Casa Del Fauno was built by Maria Angela Fernhof, a native of Italy who frequented India from 1990 to 1995. In 2003, she made Muhamma her home after a sojourn in the hills of Periyar. The artistic talent of Maria Angela is reflected in every nook and corner of the house and Casa Del Fauno stands as a unique blend of the east and the west. Built in an Indo-Italian style, the villa with its spacious rooms and large verandas is minimally furnished and is dotted with rare pieces of antiques.

The place is centrally located with easy accessibility to airport and other holiday spots in Kerala.
