Tube Fomentation
Leaves of eranda, varuna or guduci, meat of domestic or marshy animals, goat head, trunk and blood of pig and sesame seeds mixed in water get boiled in a pot. The vapour emanating from the pot is allowed to pass through a pipe made of reed, leaves of bamboo or anaka. Karanja leaves also used. The pipe should have bends at two/three places and tapered with the circumference at the subject’s end by approximately one-eighth of that at the pot end.
