Hawa Beach
Hawa Beach
Hawah Beach lies in the opposite direction of the light house beach. It is almost a mirror image of its busier neighbour save for the palm groves that almost dot its entire length.
During the early morning hours it forms the base for local fishermen who tug their massive nets through the shallows to the accompaniment of singing and chanting.
Though the sight of Westerners in bathing suits is a normal sight for locals, it's polite to dress in a respectful manner when walking in palm groves or near the mosque.
