Unique dance

Theyyam or Theyyaattam is a ritualistic folk dance form of Kerala performed in Kolathunaad a place presently known as Kannur. It means Theyyam is a corruption for Deyvam (God), while Aattam means dance. Thus it means God's dance. The dance is of a great traditional importance.
