At 12 noon you would be welcomed aboard by our representative for you to embark on a reverie voyage that would unravel the idyllic charm of Kumarakom, one of Kerala’s famous post card settings. You will be setting sail after a sumptuous Kerala lunch underscored with fish and seafood delicacies. Get stirred up by the charm of the Vembanad Lake or experience the simple joys of life in these tiny lagoons, punctuated by long rows of coconut trees.

The houseboat has spacious interiors furnished in ethnic style that bespoke opulence. The experienced boatman would navigate the boat through the tranquil stretches of the fabled backwaters of Kerala. The sun deck is a vantage point to steal a glance of the village life where the folks still live the way their forefathers did over a hundred years back.

The houseboat patrols through some of the famous stretches of Champakulam, Thottapally and Thrikunnapuzha that fall in this leg. The short stopovers are good excuses for you to have a close encounter with the village life. Watch the toddy tapper in action or try clambering up a coconut tree. Explore the village markets and old religious places on a bicycle or spend the time angling in the backwaters.

You will be served tea with snacks in the evening as you are all set to watch the breathtaking spectacle of the sunset from the deck. As darkness envelopes the waterways, the boat skims slowly into the lakeside to moor for the night. After an ethnic Kerala dinner you can retire in the cozy confines of the bedroom that flaunts the state of the art facilities and amenities.

On day three the cruise starts early in the morning with a wholesome Kerala breakfast. The boat will take you to the finishing point to mark the end of a fun filled cruise that would linger in your mind all your life.
