Day 01  - Trivandrum Airport/Kovalam

On arrival our executive will greet the guest and transfer to the hotel (21 kms).


Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram) located at the southwestern tip of India, this district is bounded by the Arabian Sea on the west and Tamil Nadu on the east. The wooded highlands on the Western Ghats in the eastern and northeastern borders give Thiruvananthapuram some of the most enchanting picnic spots. A long shoreline, with internationally renowned beaches, historic monuments, backwater stretches and a rich cultural heritage make this district a much sought after tourist destination. Thiruvananthapuram is the capital of Kerala.
Day 02 Kovalam / Trivandrum/ Kovalam

Afternoon start sightseeing of Trivandrum with local guide, in which you visit Shree Padmanabha Temple, Napier Museum and Shree Chitra Art Gallery.
Day 03 Kovalam/ Cape/ Kovalam

After Early breakfast drive to Kanniyakumari (Cape Comorin)to visit the south tip of India. Enroute visit Shree Padmanabhapuram Palace and Suchindram temple. After Lunch boat trip to visit Vivekananda Memorial. Later drive back to Kovalam.


At the southern most land tip of India, where the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal meet, lies Kanniyakumari, an important pilgrim centre. Kanniyakumari is famous for its spectacular sunrises and sunsets, especially on full moon days. The beach itself is a beautiful site with multi-coloured sand. There is a lighthouse from where one can get a panoramic view. The Government museum offers a good collection of sculptural art crafts of Tamil Nadu. Souvenirs and handicraft articles made from sea shells, and palm leaf articles are the main items to buy at Kanyakumari. Trinklets and packets of coloured sea sand for children can also be bought here. There are several shops selling these articles. Prices vary depending upon your bargaining power.
Day 04 Kovalam / Thottapally

After Breakfast drive to Thottapally (160 kms / 3 hrs) to board houseboat. On arrival lunch will be served on board and all other meals tea, coffee, snacks will be served in houseboat. Overnight : Houseboat


Kettuvallam (House Boat) is a country boat that was used in the early days for the transport of goods from the isolated interior villages to the towns. With the advent of roads, bridges and ferry services, gradually the Kettuvallam went off the scene. Now these Houseboats are back again as a major tourist attraction. A ride on a Houseboat is a fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of the backwaters.
Day 05 Houseboat /Kumarakom

After breakfast disembark at Kumarakom hotel jetty. On arrival check in to the hotel. Evening have a wonderful walk through the Kumarakom Bird sanctuary.

The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake. An unbelievably beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald never ending green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with while lilies - this is Kumarakom. The bird sanctuary here, which is spread across 14 acres, is a favorite haunt of migratory birds and an ornithologist's paradise. The most interesting area in the backwaters is the “Kuttanad Region” called the Rice bowl of Kerala.
Day 06 Kumarakom

After breakfast start sight seeing of Kottayam town. Visit two old Catholic churches called “ Cheriya Palli and Valiya Palli”. Reach to an Old Farm House for Traditional Lunch with a Christian Family. Later Farm visit and back to Hotel.

Overnight.
Day 07 Kumarakom / Periyar

After Breakfast drive to Thekkady (140 kms, 4 hrs). On arrival check in to the hotel. Visit Periyar Wildlife sanctuary, boating at Lake Periyar by common boat and later plantation tour. Elephant ride can be arranged on request in the season.

Plantation tour introduces you to a numerous variety of spices. A good explanation of the native spices, tea and coffee will given by the person who will be accompanying in this Garden.


Thekkady is located in the high ranges of Western Ghats covering 777 sq.kms of grasslands and moist deciduous, tropical evergreen and semi evergreen forest at an altitude varies from 900m to 2000m. A reservoir of water in an area of 25 sq.kms created by a dam built in 1895 by British is Periyar Lake. The name “Thekkady” conjures up images of Elephants, unending chains of hills and spice scanted plantations. Periyar wildlife sanctuary is one of the finest wildlife reserves in India and spread across the entire district are picturesque plantations and hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks and mountain walks.
Day 08 Periyar / Munnar

After breakfast drive to Munnar ( 120 kms 3 hrs). This wonderful drive offer you to see cardamom, coffee, tea, pepper etc. On arrival check in to the hotel. PM you are free to walk around the tea plantations.

Munnar” (Three rivers) is one of the most popular hill stations in India and is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Located at 1600 meters above sea level, this was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make Munnar a unique experience. Munnar is one of the highest peaks in South India and is home to animals like elephants and the rare ‘Nilgiri tahrs’. Among the exotic flora, there is the Neelakurinji, which blooms every 12 years. The next bloom is in this September 2006. Traditions of the British Tea Plantation town are still preserved in the heavenly and un-spoilt hill station.
Day 09 Munnar

After Breakfast, start to explore the different regions of Munnar with local English Speaking Guide. Visit Eravikulam National Park to see the endangered Nilgiri Tahr (Endemic goat-antelope). Guide will explain about the great history of high range. Later visit Tea Museum (to witness the tea processing) and Handicraft center called ‘Srushti’. Lunch at Hotel. Later walk through the lush green tea plantations. Back to the hotel
Day 10 Munnar / Cheruthuruthy

After Breakfast start drive to Cheruthuruthy. On arrival check in to the hotel. Evening village walk. Overnight

The dawn of the twentieth century witnessed a cultural renaissance all over India. In Kerala among those who spearheaded the cultural renaissance poet Vallathol Narayana Menon is an immortal name. Besides being an outstanding poet and scholar, Vallathol was a passionate lover of Kathakali and other similar classical dance-theatre traditions of Kerala. Against all odds he took up the task of saving Kathakali and other stylized art-forms from eclipse. Kakkad Karanavappad, an eminent scholar and Manakkulam Mukundaraja, a devoted cultural activist, were an unending source of inspiration to Vallathol in the establishment of Kerala KALAMANDALAM along the banks of the river Bharathapuzha in Cheruthuruthy, a small village in the northern edge of Trissur District.
Day 11 Cheruthuruthy/ Kalamandalam/ Cheruthuruthy

After breakfast visit Kerala Kala Mandalam and experience the Short demonstration of various art performance and traditional Lunch offered by Kerala Kala Mandalam. This programme is called “A day with the master”.

Kalamandalam is the premier Center of excellence in Indian Performing Arts emphasizing especially on the traditions that developed in the State of Kerala, in the south west coast of India. Established in 1930, this unique institution, devoted to classical performing arts, is situated near the majestic river Bharathapuzha, celebrated in literature as Nila, in the village of Cheruthuruthy in Trissur district.

Back to hotel and at leisure.
Day 12 Cheruthuruthy/ Guruvayoor/ Cheruthuruthy

After Breakfast drive to (45 kms / 1 hrs). Visit Guruvayoor, where the famous Temple is located, dedicated to Lord Krishna. Later Visit Punnathoor Elephant Fort.

Punnathoorkotta, near the Sree Krishna Temple at Guruvayoor, Kerala, houses probably the largest single group of captive elephants in the world. The number is currently 62. It is here that the elephants that are offered to the deity by the rich and the mighty are kept.

Trichur has an ancient and well-flourished Christian community and the city has 20 big churches including three basilicas. Trichur has many beautiful temples around. People keep old customs and traditions. Trichur has a unique tradition of using elephants for temple festival.

Back to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 13 Cheruthuruthy/ Calicut

After Breakfast drive to Calicut ( 160 kms, 3 hrs). On arrival check in to the hotel. Evening walk through fisherman village.

In North Kerala lies the area which the legendary traveler Marco Polo described in 1320 A.D. as the "great province of Malabar". Much of this richness today lies buried in the glory of a past grandeur, a past replete with the trading visits of European voyagers calling on the ancient port of Kozhikode on their regular journeys of commerce, lured by timber, ivory, pepper, ginger, cinnamon, and other spices.
Day 14 Kozhikode

After breakfast start sightseeing of Calicut. Visiting following places. Visit Pazhassiraja Museum, run by the State Archaelogical Department, displays ancient murals, antique bronzes and old coins, as well as models of temples, megalithic monuments like dolminoid cysts and umbrella stones. (Closed on Mondays) The Art Gallery situated next to Pazhassiraja Museum contains paintings of Raja Ravi Varma and Raja Raja Varma. (Closed on Mondays and Wednesday forenoons) Beypore 11 km from Kozhikode, is a small coastal town famous for centuries as a ship-building centre and still is known today for its country crafts called uru (/uRu/) built by traditional shipbuilders known as khalasis (/khalashis/). Beypore is still a favoured destination for Arabs shopping for large boats "Uru".
Day 15 Calicut / Vythiri

After Breakfast drive to Vythiri (85 kms 2 hrs), On arrival check in to the hotel.

Vythiri is located in the Wayanad District in North Kerala, India. Waynad is rich in coffee and spice plantations. Wayanad is steeped in history and traditions which historians claim date as far back as 10 centuries before Christ. They refer to the Edakkal Caves as evidence where ancient carvings have been traced to a highly civilized people from the pre-historic stone ages. Wayanad is also home to proud indigenous tribesmen. Numerous tribal communities co-exist with a well-settled planter population. The drive is picturesque. You have to wind through the Western ghats, escaping from the sultry climate below to a perfect, cool and temperate climate at Vythiri.
Day 16 Vythiri

Full day free at leisure at Vythri Resort. Free for individual activities.
Day 17 Vythiri /Thalassery

After Breakfast drive to Thalassery(110 kms , 2.5 hrs). On arrival check in to the hotel.


Town was built in 1683 by the British for the pepper and cardamom trade and was their first settlement on the Malabar Coast. A fort was built there in 1708 and was attacked unsuccessfully by the Indian ruler and military commander Hyder Ali of Mysore in 1781. Tellicherry is still a major port for the export of pepper, coffee, sandalwood, and coconuts.
Day 18 Thalassery

Full day sightseeing of Thalassery, visiting local market and historical monuments.
Day 19 Thelassery / Cochin

After breakfast checkout from the hotel and proceed to Railway station to board train to Cochin.

Arrival at Cochin Railway station and transfer to hotel. On arrival check in to the hotel.

The eventful history of this city began when a major flood in AD 1341 threw open the estuary at Kochi, till then a land locked region, turning it into one of the finest natural harbours in the world. Kochi thus became a haven for seafaring visitors from all over the world and became the first European township in India when the Portuguese settled here in the 15th century.

Day 20 Cochin

After breakfast half day sightseeing of Cochin with English Speaking Guide. Visiting St.Fancis Church, Chinese Fishing Net, Dutch Palace (Closed on Friday) and Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Friday and Saturday). Back to Hotel for Lunch.


Evening witness Kathakali performance in a Kathakali Theatre.

Kathakali literally means ‘story play’ is more popular among the dances of Kerala. It is derived from ancient classical dance forms and story telling. Musicians accompanied by drummers sing the stories of the Indian epics. Dancers with painted face narrate the characters and their expressions by footwork, hand gesture (mudras), dancing and facial expressions including eye movements.
Day 21 Cochin

Morning free at resort. Evening Sunset cruise in Cochin Harbour by private Motor boat. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 22 Departure

Departure transfer to Airport to board your flight.
