The menu catering to both vegetarians and non- vegetarians will be dominated by fresh fish and seafood delicacies and will win hands down as any gourmet's delight. Seasoned with natural home grown spices of Kerala, each of these dishes, wraps up the essence of this tiny strip of land. The sprawling lounge with trendy and comfortable seating arrangements and the elevated sundeck form the vantage spots for you to preside over the natural milieu. The bathrooms are equipped with the latest fittings like hot water showers and WC.
In these waterways, there is an array of typical sights and sounds that you might not come across elsewhere. You will see Chinese nets dotting the waterways being operated and mussel pickers taking a dip in the shallow waters to come up with pails of mussel, a local delicacy. There are many tourist spots that fall in this circuit including the ancient champakulam church, Mata Amritanadamayi ashram and Chavara Bhavan, the homestead of the blessed Kuraiakose chavara among others. Take a closer look at the little island of Pathiramanal, well known for its migratory birds.
You can buy fresh catch straight from the nets or the go getters amongst you can take the lead and try your luck with the fishing rod. You can also cook the fresh catch the way you like the best. The chef will only be glad to do it or if you prefer to do it all by yourselves, just step into the well equipped kitchenette to satiate your cooking skills
The boat will make brief halts in between to give you a chance to saunter along the village roads, watch the life go by in these hamlets or live a villager's life for a day! You can also laze around in the uninhabited lagoons, browse through the village markets or chill out in the cool waters, swimming and soaking up fun.
