You can watch the toddy tappers in action or the fishermen going about their daily routine.

In case you are interested to know more about the culture and tradition of this picturesque village in Aleppey,  a guided tour would be the best option to explore some of the  places of tourist interest  including the  Champakulam church built in 427 AD, ancient temples and quaint village markets. You can also see snake boats, measuring around 110 feet long, which are used in the traditional boat races in Kerala; and the best part is that these are not seen in any other part of India.

This home stay at Champakulam could be a cozy home away from your home, where you can enjoy the warmth and closeness of a family milieu without compromising a wee bit on the comfort factor. Recommended for family holidays or romantic weekouts.

Activities

Our speciality is the trips on the local boat to different places of Kuttanad, even through narrow canals.
