Marari Beach Resort covers an area of 55 acres and is a vast expanse of coconut groves, lotus ponds and lawns. The  positive reviews of this hotel are well deserved. It doesn't offer luxury accomodation though the villas are well appointed and well maintained.The resort has sucked in the local flavour and is a  mini coastal village in itself. Though this resort is heavily influenced by the fishermen's dwellings in design, it features all the conveniences catering to the modern day traveller. The guests can chose their accommodation from 65 cottages, which are categorised as Garden Villas and Pool Villas.

Marari Beach Resort has two specialty restaurants to its credit. Though the main buffet restaurant offers cuisines from across the globe, it specializes in traditional Kerala cuisines. The sea food restaurant is a splendid opportunity for the guests to feast on the wide array of sea-food delicacies. What sets the fish served here apart is that it is cooked in earthenware pots seen in the kitchens of rural homes in Kerala. Cooked in slow wood fire, exactly the way done in fisherman's huts give it a distinct flavour. The resort places a lot of emphasis on healthy food. Only organically grown fruits and vegetables are used in the preparation of the food served here. You will love their  farm kitchen were you can pick your own veggies and assist in preparing and cooking them. We particularly appreciated the charm, friendliness and efficiency of Manager Subrahmanian who is always on the run to meet his guests and make their stay a very special one.
