What is KSRTC bus?
KSRTC stands for Kerala State Road Transport Corporation, it’s the government bus service for the public through out Kerala. This bus service was established by the government of Kerala on 15-3-1965. About 4000 buses runs daily in and around Kerala for public transit service.
These buses covers approximately 14,00000 Km with passengers over 30 lakhs. KSRTC also have introduced few new services to make traveling easy for people, its Air Bus, City Fast and other luxury coach buses has helped travelers immensely to reach their destination easily and safely. The bus service not only links the city but has also services to nearby states like TamilNadu and Karnataka.
The bus fares are also fixed by the government and it alters the fares when its necessary. The bus fare starts from a minimum Rs. 5 which is comparatively lesser than other states.
