Bolghatty Island also known as Ponjikara is one of the islands that make up the city of Kochi, Kerala, India. Frequent boat service and newly built bridges have made the island accessible from the mainland.
The Bolgatty Palace, which is on the island is one of the oldest existing palaces built by the Dutch in India. Later it became the seat of the British Resident. The palace is today a 5-star heritage hotel, managed by the Kerala State Tourism Department The island also has a golf course
It is 30 Km from Cochin International Airport.
