Description of Malabar House Fort Cochin:
The Malabar House is a renovated 18th century Dutch mansion, a fusion of colonial & Kerala architecture. It overlooks the Parade Ground and the oldest European church in India: St.Francis Church.
Malabar House Residency is situated in the heart of historic Fort Cochin.
The rooms are furnished with period furniture with the odd antique artifact. The small swimming pool behind the front desk is especially charming.
The garden restaurant, The Malabar Junction, offers fresh seafood with a personal blend of regional and Mediterranean flavours.
Malabar House also offers Kalari massage, one of the oldest schools of Ayurveda as relaxation and rejuvenation therapy.
