21 nights Beach and City Tour Package

Day 01 Airport / Kovalam

On arrival our executive will greet the guest and transfer to the hotel (21 kms).

Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram) located at the southwestern tip of India, this district is bounded by the Arabian Sea on the west and Tamil Nadu on the east. The wooded highlands on the Western Ghats in the eastern and northeastern borders give Thiruvananthapuram some of the most enchanting picnic spots. A long shoreline, with internationally renowned beaches, historic monuments, backwater stretches and a rich cultural heritage make this district a much sought after tourist destination. Thiruvananthapuram is the capital of Kerala.

Day 02 Kovalam / Trivandrum / Kovalam

Afternoon start sightseeing of Trivandrum with local guide, in which you visit Shree Padmanabha Temple, Napier Museum and Shree Chitra Art Gallery.

Day 03 Kovalam / Cape / Kovalam

After Early breakfast drive to Kanniyakumari to visit the south tip of India. Enroute visit Shree Padmanabhapuram Palace and Suchindram temple. After Lunch boat trip to visit Vivekananda Memorial. Later drive back to Kovalam.

At the southern most land tip of India, where the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal meet, lies Kanniyakumari, an important pilgrim centre. Kanniyakumari is famous for its spectacular sunrises and sunsets, especially on full moon days. The beach itself is a beautiful site with multi-coloured sand. There is a lighthouse from where one can get a panoramic view. The Government museum offers a good collection of sculptural art crafts of Tamil Nadu.

Souvenirs and handicraft articles made from sea shells, and palm leaf articles are the main items to buy at Kanyakumari. Trinklets and packets of coloured sea sand for children can also be bought here. There are several shops selling these articles. Prices vary depending upon your bargaining power.


Day 04 Kovalam / Varkala

After Breakfast drive to Varkala Beach (75 kms 1.5 hrs). On arrival check in to the hotel. After noon free to walk on the beach.

Varkala is a seaside tourist resort and spa. A small town north of Thiruvananthapuram, it is also an important religious place for the Hindus. The beach at Varkala grew into prominence and caught the attention of tourists only recently. A long sandy beach, towering cliffs and soothing mineral springs put Varkala in the not-to-miss category. Papanasam is a perfect place to watch the sunset or relax gazing at the horizon. The area is covered with coconut palms and small restaurants that mushroom during the season. The 500-metre stretch is right below a cliff.

Day 05 Varkala

Full day leisure at varkala beach. Overnight at Hotel

Day 06 Varkala / Ashtamudi

After Breakfast drive towards north of Varkala. Reach at Ashtamudi Lake resort, with locate on the shore of Ashtamudi Backwaters. On arrival check in to the hotel.


The Ashtamudi Lake, so named because of its eight 'arms' or channels is the gateway to the backwaters. Located in Kollam district, Ashtamudi is famed for its panoramic for its magnificent views. There are coconut groves and palm trees all along the banks of the lake and the monotony is broken by the quiet town of Kollam.

Day 07 Ashtamudi / Alleppey

After Breakfast drive to Aleppey (60 kms, 1.5 hrs) On arrival check in to the hotel near Beach. Afternoon at Leisure.


Aleppey (Alappuzha) is a District of immense natural beauty. Known as the Venice of The East, it is famous for backwaters, boat races, houseboat holidays, beaches, marine products and coir products. A singular characteristic of this land is the region called Kuttanad. The land of lush paddy fields, Kuttanad is called the rice bowl of Kerala and is the one of the few places in the world where farming is done below the sea level. Day 08 Aleppey

Full day leisure at Hotel O/N Hotel

Day 09 Aleppey / Houseboat

At 12.00 hrs board houseboat from Aleppey Jetty for overnight cruise towards to Kumarakom. All meals tea, coffee, snacks will served on board. Overnigt at Houseboat


Kettuvallam (House Boat) is a country boat that was used in the early days for the transport of goods from the isolated interior villages to the towns. With the advent of roads, bridges and ferry services, gradually the Kettuvallam went off the scene. Now these Houseboats are back again as a major tourist attraction. A ride on a Houseboat is a fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of the backwaters.

Day 10 Houseboat / Kumarakom

After Breakfast disembark at Hotel Jetty directly and check in to the hotel on arrival. PM walk to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary.

Overnight at Kumarakom

The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake. An unbelievably beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald never ending green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with while lilies - this is Kumarakom. The bird sanctuary here, which is spread across 14 acres, is a favorite haunt of migratory birds and an ornithologist's paradise. The most interesting area in the backwaters is the “Kuttanad Region” called the Rice bowl of Kerala.

Day 11 Kumarakom

After breakfast start sight seeing of Kottayam town. Visit two old Catholic churches called “ Cheriya Palli and Valiya Palli”. Reach to an Old Farm House for Traditional Lunch with a Christian Family. Later Farm visit and back to Hotel.


Day 12 Kumarakom / Thekkady

After Breakfast drive to Thekkady (140 kms, 3.5 hrs) On arrival check in to the hotel. Free at leisure. O/N Hotel


The name “Thekkady” conjures up images of Elephants, unending chains of hills and spice scanted plantations. Periyar wildlife sanctuary is one of the finest wildlife reserves in India and spread across the entire district are picturesque plantations and hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks and mountain walks. The Thekkady sanctuary is one of the best in the country for watching and photographing wild life.

Day 13 Thekkady

Morning visit Periar wildlife Sanctuary and boating by common boat at Lake Periyar. Afternoon Plantation tour. Elephant ride can be arranged on request in the season.

Plantation tour introduces you to a numerous variety of spices. A good explanation of the native spices, tea and coffee will given by the person who will be accompanying in this Garden.


Day 14 Thekkady / Munnar

After breakfast drive to Munnar ( 130 kms 3 hrs). This wonderful drive offer you to see cardamom, coffee, tea, pepper etc. On arrival check in to the hotel. PM you are free to walk around the tea plantations.


“Munnar” (Three rivers) is one of the most popular hill stations in India and is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Located at 1600 meters above sea level, this was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make Munnar a unique experience. Munnar is one of the highest peaks in South India and is home to animals like elephants and the rare ‘Nilgiri tahrs’. Among the exotic flora, there is the Neelakurinji, which blooms every 12 years. The next bloom is in this September 2006. Traditions of the British Tea Plantation town are still preserved in the heavenly and un-spoilt hill station.


Day 15 Munnar

After Breakfast, start to explore the different regions of Munnar with local English Speaking Guide. Visit Eravikulam National Park to see the endangered Nilgiri Tahr (Endemic goat-antelope). Guide will explain about the great history of high range. Later visit Tea Museum (to witness the tea processing) and Handicraft center called ‘Srushti’. Lunch at Hotel. Later walk through the lush green tea plantations. Back to the hotel Overnight : Windermere / Similar Category


Day 16 Munnar /Cochin

After Breakfast drive to Cochin (140 kms, 4 hrs). Enroute Traditional Lunch is arranged at a Plantation house with an old Christian family. Later Rubber Plantation visit. On arrival check in to the hotel.

Evening witness Kathakali dance performance.

Kathakali literally means ‘story play’ is more popular among the dances of Kerala. It is derived from ancient classical dance forms and story telling. Musicians accompanied by drummers sing the stories of the Indian epics. Dancers with painted face narrate the characters and their expressions by footwork, hand gesture (mudras), dancing and facial expressions including eye movements.


The eventful history of this city began when a major flood in AD 1341 threw open the estuary at Kochi, till then a land locked region, turning it into one of the finest natural harbours in the world. Kochi thus became a haven for seafaring visitors from all over the world and became the first European township in India when the Portuguese settled here in the 15th century.


Day 17 Cochin

After breakfast half day sightseeing of Cochin with English Speaking Guide. Visiting St.Fancis Church, Chinese Fishing Net, Dutch Palace (Closed on Friday) and Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Friday and Saturday). Back to Hotel for Lunch.


Evening sunset cruise by private motorboat at Cochin Harbour. Overnigt.


Day 18 Cochin / Marari

After breakfast drive to Marari (57 kms 1.5 hrs). On arrival check in to the hotel. You are free at Leisure. After dropping you at hotel, car goes back.
