Narayanan Perungudi
Narayanan Perungudi was the father of Kumaran Asan, one of the triumvirate of modern Malayalam literature.
Although he belonged to the backward Exhava community he was well versed in both Malayalam and Tamil and had a penchant for Kathakali and Classical music, which he gifted to his son.
