Paika

Paika is a high range plantation village producing rubber mainly.

Majority of the inhabitants are Christians followed by Hindus and Muslims.

The annual feast of the shrine of Our Lady (St Joseph’s Church) is a mega event. The feast is in December and is attended by thousands. Pathways around the church wear colourful decorations during the feast. Orchestra powered feast procession is feast for ear and eye alike.

The village is self sufficient in healthcare and middle level education facilities.
