Percussion
Percussion is derived from a Latin word 'percussio' which means ‘to beat or strike’ in musical sense. So it generally denotes a object which produces a sound when being struck. This more often found in musical context, when musicians beat or strike some instruments like drums, metal plates it creates a sound.
