Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a skin disease with auto-immune characteristics. It affects joints also apart from skin. There are different types of psoriasis. The cause factor of this disease is still to be established. The anticipating causes are urinal infection and stress factor. Usually the victims are in the age group of 15-35.

As one of the symptoms it is usually noticed that scaling takes place on the skin. It takes place when the cells in the outer layer of skin reproduce on a faster scale than normal and heap them on outer skin. In some cases the lesions appear on whole body and in some other cases lesions appear in some areas only. In some lesions fuss formation and its oozing will be there. Mild itching around lesions is also one of the symptoms. In advanced cases joints will attract pain and turn stiff.

Remedies :

a) Consume onion fried in ghee daily.

b) Apply Jasmine flower paste on the lesions.

c) Mix ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder and one teaspoon of neem powder in warm water and consume twice a day.

d) 75 ml cabbage juice daily in the morning.

e) Apply slightly diluted lime juice on affected spots.

Precautions :

a) Avoid chillies, sour foods, spices, curd etc. b) Expose the body to sun for one hour in the morning. c) Avoid sea salt. Instead use rock salt in the foods. d) Consume vegetarian foods, especially leafy foods more. e) Undertake mild exercise and be stress-free.
