What is sarvangadhara
In this treatment the folded cloth pieces dipped in the medicated oil are squeezed all over the body.
What is the Sarvangadhara procedure
This is performed by four attendants.The fifth attendant is for heating the oil.After massaging the body for a while,in sitting position,the patient is made to lie on the treatment table and the cloth pieces dipped in medicated oil are squeezed all over the body followed by massage.This should be done in 7 positions.The slow massage is done without exerting much pressure.The oil is to be heated every now and then,to maintain the warmth.After the treatment mild masasage is given followed by hot water bath.
