13.Urovasti
13.1 Wht is Urovasti
It is the treatment done in the 'uras' or chest region.
13.2 What is Urovasti procedure
The patient is made to lie on the treatment table. A boundary is built up on the chest by blackgram paste.Medicated oil is poured in to this and retained there for sometime.Oil and the blackgram paste is removed after few minutes and hotwater bath is given to the patient.
13.3 What are the indications
Urovasti is mainly done to treat the pain in the sternam area.
