Vandanpathal

Agriculture is the main vocation of this village near Kottayam. The main crop is rubber. Coriander, ginger and tapioca shine as secondary to rubber. The people are affluent and follow modern life style.

A church, a mosque and a temple co-exist peacefully as a sign of communal harmony like almost other places in Kerala.

A Lower Primary School run by the church caters the primary education to the children of the village.
