Ayurveda Remedies for Alopecia
Loss of hair from a part is known as alopecia. If the loss is from a small part of head it is known as alopecia aerta, whereas the loss is from all over the body it is known as alopecia universalis.
The symptoms are the disease itself.
a) For alopecia universalis no medicine is required as it is a phenomenon of inconsequence. The hair will reborn on its own. However, in case of alopecia aerta the following remedies are commonly practiced.
b) Paste made of castor seeds or gunga seeds may be applied on the hair fallen spot twice or thrice a day till the hair is reborn. Irritation or rash may develop in some cases. Nothing serious, it will subside after some time.
c) Application of hibiscus paste also gives good result.
