In Ayurveda, mental and physical powers get activated to guard the body after ejecting the effluents. In both Meditation and Yoga, peace of mind is attained through 8 stages. They are Yama (disciplined behaviour), Niyama (self-purification), Asana (body-postures), Pranayama (breath control), Pratyahara (sense control), Dharana (objective concentration of the mind), Dhyana (meditation), and Samadhi (state of tranquility).
