Here is a rough price list for staying at Kalari Kovalikom during the 2012 season.

As you can see from below rates, Kalari is not the budget option for visitors seeking Ayurveda, although having stayed in a very mediocre London hotel which cost substantially more per night, I think it is well worth it. With about 25 guests and 85 staff, this is a wonderful place to unwind. Please we often have better rates than those listed below as we negotiate per customer. But the below are an indication.

Some Notes:

• All package rates include cost of consultation with the Doctor, treatments, massages, oils, herbs, oral medicines, accommodation in Standard room category, Yoga, meditation, vegetarian food and clothes provided for you on arrival.
• Package cost also includes pick up and drop from Cochin or Coimbatore airports.
• Ayurvedic treatment is highly individualized based on your body type. The content of packages may differ depending on the patients health condition. The exact duration of treatment can be ascertained only upon consultation with the doctor, on arrival.
• Any other treatment prescribed by the Doctor will be charged extra which must be settled direct at time of check-out. Patient will be intimated before hand in such cases.
• It is advisable to show one's medical history to the doctor during consultation to help plan for best results (taking into consideration any specific problems).
• Internal medicines may be prescribed by the Doctor at the time of departure will be chargeable, can be bought from the centre.
• Service charge for the Doctor is for supervision over the treatments, diet, routine visits and consultation.
• Package cost does not include treatments if any, required for conditions not related to package.
• Package costs do not include any tests, if required by doctors.
• Package costs do not cover extra consultations required after treatment, if situation warrants extra supervision for the patient.
• If additional days treatment is required, the rates will vary proportionately. Extra days and costs in such cases will be notified before they are incurred.
• Charges for accompanying person without treatment: Supplement @ GBP 29/EURO 35/USD 54/INR 2170 per night on Single Occupancy.
• Sightseeing, telephone calls, internet, personal laundry and other additional service requested will be charged extra.
• Booking is done by making a 25% advance payment and the balance payment may be made any time before your departure from Kalari Kovilakom.
