Kalari Kovilakom is an ayurveda "palace" located a couple of hours north of Cochin in the traditional Kerala region of Palakkad. The palace offers a uniquely calm and "loving" environment to relax, undergo traditional ayurveda treatments and simply retreat from the sometimes crazy hurry of our world. The cente is discreet from the world and offers a genuine retreat where noise and interruption are minimised so that you can simply lie back or wander in peace through the acres of grounds.

I had long yearned to visit, but somehow never found the time to break off from work to immerse myself in its atmopshere. Although Kalari Kovilakom prides itself on its ayurveda approach, it offers much more for the sensitive visitor.
