Masala Chai (Tea)

Ingredients

  • Water - 2 cups
  • Tea leaves - 2 tsp
  • 1 inch piece of crushed ginger
  • 2 crushed black peppers
  • 3 crushed cloves
  • 3 pods of crushed cardamom
  • 1 small - cinnamon stick
  • Milk - half glass
  • Sugar - as required

Directions

  1. Boil water in a pot.

  2. Add all ingredients except milk and sugar. Simmer for a couple of minutes.

  3. Strain into cup, add milk, sugar.....sit back and enjoy each sip of your masala chai.
