Raheem Residency is a 1868 colonial villa which has been lovingly restored in a rich, classical Indian style by its Indo-European owners. Originally built by an Englishman it was the home of the Raheem’s, an eminent Alleppey  family, for one hundred years. it is located just over the road from the shore, so it is great fun for watching local life go by.

When its a hot Cochin weekend, we love to jump into the car and drive south for a day on the beach. Very unindian but our favourite is probably Marari. Might even top it off with a Cocktail at Marari beach resort.
