Kerala Village Fair

A 10-day colourful event in Kovalam, near Thiruvananthapuram, in mid-January. Thatch-roofed houses, Kerala’s speciality, get a face-lift as in during Onam and await to receive the guests. The Fair nights are galore with entertainment programmes, such as folk dances, musics, cultural programmes etc. The event organized as a single widow outlet for sales and purchases of Kerala artifacts and miscellaneous items attracts many.
