Jamaatpalli

The 14th century mosque, Jamaatpalli, is a unique mosque with a prayer, accommodation capacity for over 1000 people the biggest in Kerala. This mosque in Kozhikode is considered to be one of the oldest in Kerala.

The juma prayers which is held on every Friday afternoon is a special prayer here with a congregation of people to participate in this prayers. There are few mosques in Kerala which is having the status of juma. Jamaatpalli is one of them, and has a special importance among the muslims of Kerala.
