  Self Accredited Rating: Not Rated Pollethai Beach Resort offers six fisherman's cottages spread across 30 acres of coastal land with large swimming pool, lots of sand and tranquility all around. Pollethai is just a kilometre south of Marari Beach and Unlike Marari, Pollethai is just a fisherman's house renovated with great style to give very comfortable rooms, large shower rooms and veranda's to enjoy the evening light. The cottages are not architecturally designed, because of which each is different. But all the cottages are very spacious and have large twin or double beds. The rooms are minimally designed and rather stylish with local antique furniture in each. All rooms have air conditioning as well as a overhead fans. The bathrooms have powerful modern showers and unlike many Indian hotel bathrooms are generously sized and clean. The main swimming pool is large (almost 30 metres in length) and is shaped like a kidney with one end roofed to give protection again the strong sun. The dining room is open air and traditional with tables set beneath coconut palm leaf roof whilst the breakfast shack is by the beach so you can watch the fishermen return with the night's catch, while sipping on your with coffee or chai. Both local and continental cuisine are available.
