Day 01 - Cochin - Kumbalangi

We will meet you at Cochin International Airport where you will be transferred to you first accommodation in Kumbalangi Village near the historic city of Fort Cochin. Either relax and take rest for the day or visit Fort cochin. Overnight with the family.see example of homestay

Day 02 - Kumbalangi

Take a tour around the Kumbalangi village. Take a canoe with oars man and visit the inlands along the canals. You can join the fishermen fishing with hand nets and Chinese fishing nets. Visit crab, prawns and duck farms. Have sumptuous rich homely food and mingle with the local culture. Overnight with the family.

Day 03 - Kumbalangi - Alappuzha

After a late breakfast proceed towards your overnight stay in the houseboat. Houseboat departs at 12:00. It will take you along the lake, backwaters, canals, meadows, coconut groves, villages and paddy fields. If interested you can get down to land for a walk and visit the villages or you can relax at the coconut groves. It has an uplifted platform with a bed, behind the captain, to see around the place. It will halt at lake side for night stay. You will have a captain, oars man, and a cook with you on the boat. Ask the captain for fishing rods. The cook will prepare your catch. Overnight in the houseboat.

Day 04 - Alappuzha

After breakfast, the boat will drop you at the home stay at Muhamma, near Alappuzha. An 800 meter waterfront along the Vembanad Lake. You can swim in the lake, go for village walks, chill at the lakeside etc. The rooms have private balcony with water front view. They serve rich food including prawns and lobster. Overnight with the family.

Day 05 - Alapuuzha

Visit Alappuzha beach and shop for handicrafts, visit coir factories etc. Evening, relax at the house. Overnight with the family.

Day 06 - Alappuzha - Kothamangalam

After having breakfast, get ready for an up hill drive to the mountains. Stay at the house situated between the mountains. And enjoy the cool climate. Have fun with the family and taste delicious traditional Kerala food. It’s a pure unexplored village, Kanjirappilly. Overnight with the family.

Day 07 - Kothamangalam

After breakfast, spend the day visiting farms; pepper, cardamom, coffee, tea plantations. Watch rubber tree tapping etc and visit hill stations for scenic sightings.

Day 08 - Kothamangalam - Cochin

Our executive will escort you to the Cochin International Airport as per your flight timings.

These prices are based on 2 adults sharing with bed and breakfast and houseboat on full board basis.. The currency rate giving is an approximate and subject to changes in exchange rate. We will be able to give you an exact price once we know your dates. Package rates are not applicable for Peak season ( From December 20th to January 10th)
