Cardamom County Plantation Theme Resort captures the essence of Thekkady in all its natural splendors. There are plenty of rooms which make it ideal for large groups or corporate getaways. Built on a hill-side, all cottages in Cardamom County are tastefully furnished in contemporary style, which offer good-value for money. There is a rooftop yoga room and an ayurvedic centre, where the guests can relax and soothe their worked up nerves.

Cardamom County comprises of 29 deluxe cottages and 1 suite cottage. Designed keeping in mind the traditional architectural ambiance of Kerala, the Deluxe Rooms include a bedroom, an attached sitting room, balconies and a sit-out. Rooms have a 'mache' which is a masterpiece of traditional Kerala architecture. Killivathils (a perched lookout attached to a window to view the world around , from the cozy interiors of your room) are also a standard feature in the rooms . Some of the cottages are constructed with 'arras' and ' nirras' - the wooden stores attached to traditional Kerala houses for storing rice.

The Suite Cottage is generously proportioned and luxurious, elevated 75 feet from the ground and overlooking the swimming pool. It has a well-furnished sitting room and a bed room with a splendid view designed to capture spectacular sights and sounds of the forests.
