66 past Anthonyettan of Puthanangadi, Manalur in Thrissur district is a running mobile bakery on Kavu for the last 43 years (Kavu in vernacular is a shaped bamboo log about 1.5 metre long either end of which is used to hang goods and carry on shoulder. In yesteryears fish-hawkers in Kerala used to sell fish on Kavu. A healthy person can carry about one ton on Kavu).

Anthonyettan markets 20 bakery items manufactured by him in his ancient type kiln. People like his products as they are genuine having no chemical ingredients or artificial colours. He walks daily about 18 km with the Kavu-load on shoulder. He starts from the house early morning with about 70 kg products hanged in two big baskets on either side of the Kavu for house to house sale.
