Kerala Girl Won Laurels in New Zealand

Jessie Hillel, 11, from Kottayam settled in Willington, New Zealand is scaling new heights. She was first runner-up in the highly popular NZGT (New Zealand Got Talent) channel music contest finale the other day.

She became a sensation in the music world with her angelic voice and simple demeanour which gained her a jumbo fan fallowing. Her marks from the judges were more than the winner but she was pushed back to first runner-up position due to more SMS-votes from the public to the winner.

In the Aim to Fame National Championship of Performing Arts in New Zealand she won overall championship.

Her IT professional parents settled in New Zealand since 1996.
