Keralite Solves Algbraic Riddle
Unnikrishnan actually had solved the theorem 10 years ago
Unnikrishnan Thekkapatt, 33, of Kerala University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Thrissur, has unscrewed the lid of 3.5 century old Fermati’s Last Theorem. He is a research fellow and has published his finding in the IOSR Journal of Mathematics’ July-August issue, an international open access journal. He solved the theorem in a simple way by making appropriate variations.
Unnikrishnan actually had solved the theorem 10 years ago. When he presented the theory then to the Indian Science Congress it was rejected outright. He is hopeful universities all over the world will accept his theory and include it in their mathematic syallabus.
