St Alosious College of Elthuruth in Thrissur has become the first college in Kerala to have attained 100% literacy in offering organs. The other day consent forms of 3111 students were handed over to the office bearers of Kidney Federation of India, an organization pioneered by Fr Davis Chiramel. He is on an all Kerala tour with the objective of collecting 10 lakh consent forms for organs donation.
